I found an interesting graph today on Stat Owl that shows browser usage trends for December of 08' to May of 09'. From looking at the graph you can see that IE7 is currently the leader with ~50% and IE6 is second in line at ~20%.

So what does all of this mean. Well, for all of you web developers out there, it looks like you are going to have to keep supporting both IE browsers for a while. When I did web development my strategy was always to make it work in fire fox first. Since fire fox was more compliant with the standards you could generally assume that if it worked in fire fox then it would also work in IE.
